Evrone Secures a Collaboration with Voronezh State University
Evrone and Voronezh State University (VSU) have entered into a partnership agreement. In 2024, we are set to host several conferences for students of technical faculties.
A total of four technical conferences are planned, two in the spring and two in the fall. These events will have a practical focus, offering students the opportunity to explore the IT industry, meet potential employers, and help them decide on their future careers. Primarily, the conferences are aimed at students from the faculties of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics.
Approximately 3,500 students enroll annually in ur IT programs. This collaboration represents an immense potential.
Next year, university students will have access to top IT speakers from all over Russia. It's been quite some time since we've had conferences of such quality within the walls of Voronezh State University.
We are eager to show that Voronezh, especially post-pandemic, can host cool, exciting, and fun events for IT enthusiasts.
This isn't our first experience collaborating with universities. For several years now, we've been teaching students at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Our specialist teaches the course "Algorithmization and Programming of Biomedical Equipment." For another university in Voronezh - the State Forest Technical University (VGFTU), we developed a brand identity.
Evrone has significant experience in organizing professional events. For instance, we've been hosting RubyRussia, the largest Ruby conference in Russia, for 15 years. Yukihiro Matsumoto, the creator of this language, has spoken at the event several times. We also regularly hold meetups on various technologies featuring speakers from different Russian companies and organize a regional conference in Voronezh with other major IT companies, ITeaConf.
VSU is one of the largest universities in the Black Earth Region and the largest in Voronezh: 21,000 students, 18 faculties, and 16 research laboratories organized in collaboration with the Russian Academy of Sciences. The university consistently ranks among the best, placing in the top half of the National University Rankings by Interfax, the Forbes Best Universities Rating, and the Top-100 Russian Universities by Expert RA in 2023.
