Evrone's DevRel Delivered a Keynote at the Largest Tech Conference
The annual HighLoad++ conference, the largest gathering for developers, took place on December 2–3, 2024, in Moscow. As a proud event partner, Evrone contributed to the program with insightful talks and engaging booth activities.
Our DevRel, Grigory Petrov, gave a keynote and moderated the second hall over both days. Meanwhile, CTO Alexander Kirillov led the DevOps section on the second day of the conference. Grigory's talk delved into how developers perceive their own code through the lens of modern cognitive theories. In simpler terms, he explored why our code seems superior to that of our peers, how we view code generated by AI, and whether humans will even read code in the future.
Our booth was packed with branded goodies and fun activities. Visitors could participate in quizzes covering topics like Ruby, Python, Go, DevOps, Frontend, and Analytics, with prizes for those who answered all questions correctly. Winners walked away with a Yandex Station, a backpack, and a power bank.
Evrone is a regular participant at HighLoad++. At this summer's Saint HighLoad++ in St. Petersburg, CTO Alexander Kirillov discussed Go practices that are also useful in Rust development. Last year, our CEO, Oleg Balbekov, delivered a talk on the impact of open-source support at Evrone and the milestones we achieved in the process.
